Celebrate a weekend away at Taste Great Southern including accommodation and two leading events over four days and three nights.
On Saturday attend the Great Southern Cellar Door in Albany and enjoy the produce and makers from the Great Southern region. Enjoy a line-up of world class wine, great brews, local food, spirits, tourism products, produce and more. Also included is access to the Cellar Pairing Session during the day.
Eyre Park, Middleton Road, Albany 11.30am – 4.30pm.
On Sunday sit down for lunch at the amazing Women of the Region Luncheon showcasing what makes the Great Southern a region to remember.
Renowned local Chef, Sally Francis and Perth Chef, Sophie Budd, will amaze you in a culinary experience, with canapes and a seated lunch, each dish crafted to showcase the best of the Great Southern’s produce. Paired with selected wines, this culinary adventure will captivate your taste buds.
The Gardens at Bullimah, 39 Old School Road, Elleker 12.00pm – 4.00pm.

Seafood Feast & Djeran Celebration

Thursday 9 May to Sunday 12 May (3 nights)
Celebrate a weekend away at Taste Great Southern including accommodation and two leading events over four days and three nights.
On Thursday taste the amazing seafood from the oceans of the south coast. Enjoy a line-up of some of the star produce in a degustation celebration of all things seafood exploring delights from Akoya oysters, crab, kingfish, sardines and more. The menu has been designed as a collaboration with our headline chef the celebrated Shane Osborn and state chef Don Hancey.
Albany Boatshed on Princess Royal Harbour, 256 Princess Royal Drive, Albany 5.30pm – 9.30pm.
On Saturday celebrate the Djeran season hosted by the local Menang people
The Djeran Celebration returns for the second year, promoting the local cultures of the Menang, Koreng and Pibelman people of the Great Southern, located at the traditional meeting place and food source, the 6,000 year old Fish Traps.
Experience a Welcome to Country & join in the smoking ceremony, followed by a unique foraging experience led by Kurrah Mia. Then sit back and enjoy a lunch curated by Paul Iskov from Fervor, the canapes and three-course lunch will explore the foods available in the Djeran season.
