Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi
Our driver will meet you at Hanoi Noi Bai International Airport, before taking you and your family to your hotel.

Day 2: Hanoi Jeep Tour
Ready for some thrills?! This half-day jeep tour takes you through the buzzing streets of Hanoi, where you and your family will dive deep into the heart of this bustling city. Explore the maze of back streets, tiny alleyways, schools and markets, gaining fascinating insights into the daily lives of Hanoians. This immersive experience unveils the authentic spirit and cultural heart of Hanoi, making it a memorable adventure for both you and your children.

Day 3: Ha Long Bay & Lan Ha Bay family cruise
After a 2.5 hour journey from the city, set sail from Ha Long Bay: one of Vietnam’s most popular and stunning attractions. Enjoy the views of limestone karsts along with a delicious lunch served on your boat. Swim in the bay’s emerald waters, explore its mysterious caves by kayak and spend the night soaking up the scenic tranquility of Ha Long Bay.

Day 4: Lan Ha Bay – Hanoi – Phong Nha
Join in for a morning of Tai Chi on the top deck, where you and your family can breathe, stretch and welcome the day. Afterwards, recharge with a light breakfast: the perfect fuel for more exploration! Brunch will be served as you cruise back to the harbour.
Next, it’s all aboard for an overnight train adventure to Dong Hoi! Rest easy in a cosy sleeper berth, and enjoy the scenery whizzing past, before sending you into a peaceful slumber. (Psst…if you’re pressed for time or don’t fancy the train, flights are available too!)

Day 5: Phong Nha – Paradise Cave & Phong Nha Cave Tour
Our driver will collect you from Dong Hoi before bringing you to your hotel in Phong Nha. Your room may not be ready at this early hour – but you’ll be able to have breakfast and freshen up before your tour starts. Phew!
Today is all about exploring the caves: the world-famous Phong Nha Cave, which played a crucial role in the Vietnamese war, and Paradise Cave, which was only discovered in 2005 and is the longest dry cave in Asia. Paradise Cave is particularly beautiful: like something out of a painting, with its white crystal stalactites & stalagmites like pillars of glass.
After breakfast, our car and local tour guide will pick you up at Phong Nha Lake House and transfer you to Phong Nha Town, where you’ll enter the national park before visiting Paradise Cave. In the afternoon, you can visit the hilarious Duck Stop to frolic with the friendly ducks, before visiting the adventurous Dark Cave; complete with its own zipline, the kids will love this one! After a fun-filled day of activities, our driver will bring you back to your hotel.

Day 6: Phong Nha to Hue
After breakfast, enjoy a scenic and private transfer to Hue. Check in to your hotel and rest or start exploring your new home – the choice is yours!

Day 7:
Your local guide and driver will meet you at your hotel for your most exciting adventure yet! Our skilled motorbike drivers are experts in navigating gently through Hue’s bustling streets, ensuring a comfortable ride for even the most tentative passengers – with speeds kept at 40km/hr or less. After a safety briefing, your family adventure begins!
Explore narrow laneways, glide beside serene canals…and, once you’re back on your feet, wander through local markets, discovering Hue’s rich history along the way. Visit a king’s tomb, a pagoda and local handicraft workshops before immersing yourselves in Vietnam’s captivating history at Hue Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City. After all of that exploration, you’ll have surely worked up an appetite…fortunately, lunch awaits! Enjoy a delicious traditional Buddhist banquet served at a serene pagoda.
This action-packed day promises a blend of scenery, history, culture and cuisine that kids and parents will love. For those who’d like extra comfort, this tour is also available by private, air-conditioned vehicle.

Day 8: Hue to Hoi An
In the morning you’ll set off south: by private transfer to Hoi An via the spectacular Hai Van Pass – considered to be one of the most beautiful sections of coastal scenery in Vietnam. Then cruise along the outer suburbs of relaxed Da Nang city before stopping at the famed Marble Mountain. After exploring the limestone hills, and maybe doing some shopping in the souvenir shops around them, it’s time to head to Hoi An.

Days 9 & 10: Hoi An free days
You have the next two days to unwind, have fun and explore this special small city at your own pace.
